This set of items consists in 100 verbal problems. It aims at assessing vocabulary knowledge.
In a sample of 254 persons, the IAW raw score reliability was .96 as measured with the Spearman-Brown correction of Split-Half coefficient. This is seen as excellent and ensures an appropriate standard error of measurement (3.15).
Correlations of the IAW with other measures of verbal intelligence demonstrated a close level of relationship: for example, the pearson coefficient was .85 with the RIAS VIX (N=104) and .80 with the JCCES VAI (N=39).
